PROGRAMS
BASIC- In our Basic Program the main focus is crabgrass and weed prevention. With treatments in the Spring and Fall your lawn is sure to have to that nice Spring pop without the undesirables.
SPRING GREEN- New this year this program puts a twist on our usual Basic Program. Spring Green is designed to wake your grass up early giving you earliest greenest lawn on your block, coupled with crabgrass and weed prevention.
SHOWCASE- This is exactly what it is titled, a SHOWCASE. Your lawn will be the first to green, last to go dormant, and be the envy of anyone who passes by! Included in the program is FREE SOIL TEST, done every 2 years during enrollment. This allows to 1) balance your pH 2) make sure this is no major deficiencies we need to account for.
CUSTOM- Based off of a free soil sample. A program specifically design to your lawn, ensures your soil and lawn are getting exactly what they need!
Additional Services
AERATION- Believed to be one of the most underutilized services of turf health, decompaction of the soil is just as important as feeding the plant nutrients. Aeration via core pulling radically reduces the compaction allowing for better root development, water movement and nutrient uptake. Annual Fall Aeration can help defend against weeds, as they prefer the compaction, and help your lawn fill out.
While aerating it is also common practice to over-seed as well. By introducing new cultivars to your lawn you are ensuring a thick lawn, as other older grass plants become less vibrant and harder to keep healthy. Typically a Premium Rye Grass is used for its quick establishment quality. In cases of a thin lawn a bluegrass/rye mixed can be used to for optimal fill in.
GRUB CONTROL- Grub damage can come out of nowhere! One week your lawn is green and lush the next you start to notice yellowing in areas, followed by wide spread dead spots. When it comes to grubs, prevention is key. A grub prevention app in June can prevent your Fall turf damage. If you notice grub damage, unexplained dead patches or animal dig marks are key giveaways, call Lickteigs right away and we will assess and take the proper steps to the curative control method needed.
Non- Selective Weed Control- Do you have a gravel driveway or parking lot and tired of the green overtaking? Call Lickteigs to get on our monthly list of non-selective weed control.
Mosquito Control- Enjoy your outside space without the bites! Be on our scheduled treatments, every 4-6 weeks, or an event spray for a one off treatment.
